witch's questioning {video}

[PUBLIC;
[Have a witch opening a box of pizza on a bench in Espoir,
eyes narrowing hesitantly, pulling back as if the pizza is about to bite her.
]

Here I thought the tomatoes were going to run away again. Glad that's over.
[she quietly chews some more, taking in the changing season, before she absentmindedly begins to speak]

Have you been here before and forgotten your time here? Interesting how the mind forgets, wouldn't you say? It must have been boring, if I forgot I was here before. Although vegetables running around isn't exactly my idea of 'fun'. Not on my pizza, at least.

Do you miss your home? Do you even want to go back? And why do you have to? Spare me the sentimental details you'd be surprised how common this answer can be.

[and as she reaches for another slice, a tomato hops off the slice, completely whole again, before bouncing off the bench and onto the dusty path.]
Hm. Guess there were left overs after all.
[with a shrug and a lazy blink at the camera the witch closes off the feed. ]

So, you have also been here before, and forgotten that time? It's strange... but at least I'm not the only one.

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-11-29 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
So I implied. Precisely why I asked. It must have been too boring to recall.

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-11-29 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Boring? Somehow I doubt that. If I could not recall it upon the instant of returning home, it stands to reason that they were blocked, or lost completely. Of course, the same is true of dreams -- some we remember forever, and others slip away as soon as we wake. If Somarium is truly a "dream world", I'd guess it has something to do with it.

Perhaps not to you, you're still a child.
You'd be surprised at what you forget in 'forever'.

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
"Forever", you say? Just how long is forever?

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Longer and longer still. Much like an open road.

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you speaking in metaphor, or are you really someone like "that"? [Hard to tell what he means... But he's obviously not unfamiliar with those who are long-lived.]

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-11-30 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
That's like asking if I am as I appear. You've no way of knowing, but you're welcome to think whatever you like.

Asking a woman her age is rude after all.

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
If you want to split hairs, I never specifically asked how old you are, but do as you will. It's no concern of mine anyway.

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 05:50 am (UTC)(link)
That's hardly any fun. Although you seem to be unsurprised by such things. Are you familiar with these sort of beings?

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Familiar? [a strange sort of amusement in his voice] Yes. You might say that. It wouldn't be the first time. [and now he sounds smug] So you admit it? You are something like that?

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
In other words involved.

I'm a human being.

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
[Avoiding that first statement] And only that?

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
I thought you weren't concerned?

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not. I'm curious. And you're dodging the question. [He seems to be having fun with this. All this free time, he's bored.]

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
And you're avoiding my statement.

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
[Alright, he'll play that game.] I'm Ciel Phantomhive. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 07:42 am (UTC)(link)
You're from England.
I haven't heard that accent in some time.

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 07:52 am (UTC)(link)
It doesn't matter anymore.

[identity profile] dealwithademon.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 07:57 am (UTC)(link)
[He recognizes some of her choices of words.. they're similar to his own, in some ways. But, it's not in Ciel to simply extend a hand, or probe, unless it benefits or amuses him]

Have it your way then, C.C.
If we've reached a dead end in our conversation, I'll let you go. I'm expecting tea any minute.

[identity profile] aevitas.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 08:01 am (UTC)(link)
And I'm expecting more pizza.
You have yours regardless, Ciel.
